Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba raises much-needed funds to support HSC Winnipeg Children’s Hospital. The foundation is dedicated to ensuring that every child treated at HSC Winnipeg Children’s Hospital has the best care and experience possible. Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba is also a proud partner of the A Family of Support: Child & Youth Mental Health Initiative.
Since 1971, with incredible donor support, the Foundation has raised more than $100 million to help sick and injured children from Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, and Nunavut. Funds support important hospital programs that bring comfort to sick children, life-saving equipment, and health research to improve the lives of children everywhere.

How your donations will help
Your donations will directly support the Urgent Tele-Mental Health Service offered by HSC Winnipeg Children’s Hospital, providing important telephone-based care to children and adolescents in rural Manitoba who are struggling with their mental health. By bringing care closer to home, this project breaks down barriers and further connects the hospital to Indigenous and other rural communities. This new mode of delivery enhances the wellbeing of both patients and families by providing mental health services without the financial and emotional strains associated with travel. Remote consultations also create opportunities to engage patients’ families with knowledge about their child’s needs and guidance on how to provide effective support.
